Aamir Khan to work in Marathi filmmaker’s Hindi film
Many Marathi filmmakers are now switching to the Hindi medium. First National winner, Nishikant Kamat who made Dombivli Fast (2005) in Marathi made his Hindi debut with Mumbai Meri Jaan, and now Mangesh Hadawale, who made Tingya (2007), will direct a Hindi film with Aamir Khan in the lead. Tingya was highly acclaimed by critics, loved by the audiences and was the highest-grossing films of the year it released in. For his next, tentatively titled Ticket, Mangesh has roped in Disney Movies as producers.
