“Upendra Limaye” won National Award for “Jogwa”
This year’s National Awards are just announced in Delhi and Marathi Films are rock once again there. Upendra Limaye won Best Actor for his Marathi Film “Jogwa”. It’s rocking moment for him and Marathi Film Industry because not only best actor we won also won national awards in other categories. Upendra’s performance has no words to say because jury decide him best actor among all films.
Movie Review: Natarang
It’s been long since a good film on the art oftamasha has been seen on Indian screens, and especially Marathi cinema. Atul Kulkarni’sNatarang is one such. Based on a book by notedMarathi author Dr Anand Yadav, and directed by Ravi Jadhav, the film is the first release of 2010 (on January 1).

मराठी नाटकांची जाहिरात होते ती फक्त वृत्तपत्रांद्वारे. टि.व्हि. आणि रेडिओवर फारच कमी. काही नाटकांनी वेबसाईटद्वारे प्रमोशन केले आहे, पण वेबसाईटची जाहिरात होते ती सुद्धा वृत्तपत्रात. त्यात वेबसाईट बनवणे सगळ्याच निर्मात्यांना परवडेलच अस नाही. तर अशा काही गोष्टि लक्षात घेउन मराठीथिएटर.कॅाम मराठी नाटकांच ऑनलाइन प्रमोशन ही आनलाईन सेवा तयार केली आहे.
Marathi Natak ‘Vastraharan’ reaches 5000 mark
16th February 1980 was the day of Total Solar Eclipse . This day turned out to be the most auspicious day for the team of ‘Vastraharan’ , as their inaugural stage show was scheduled on this day. With a good opening ‘Vastraharan’ could reach the figure of 175 within a year’s time, and the 175th show was held 26th January 1981 in the presence of late P.L. Deshpande, who was the special guest of honour. Soon, the group performed their 800th show on 26th January 1984.
